First signs of spring...even if only on my balcony yet. That great sunny saturday, spending with friends in a garden center and getting aware the fresh new greenness and blossoms after months of dark- and coldness - brought my life senses back. But i have to be fair to this years winter here in Regensburg. We mostly enjoyed dream snow conditions without the snow troubles other regions had. Spring has come. Thatīs worth to make it a "news" - at least for me personally:

Regensburgīs first (very low) flood in 2006: The pictures on the side I made with my mobile phone camera on my way to work at Villapark. Bad quality, but you can see our first little flood. The first one of this row was shot on 28.03.2006; all the others on 31th, when the water already abated. Still low yet, but already enough for wiping off the little path along the Danube and to drown the entrance to Villapark.
